Returns & Refund Policy
At Component Warehouse, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order for any reason, we make the returns process simple and straightforward.

Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided:
- Items are unused and in their original condition
- Components are in original, undamaged packaging
- You have proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice)
- Anti-static bags and protective packaging remain intact where applicable
Note: Electrostatic-sensitive devices (ESDs), custom-cut cable lengths, special-order items, and software licences cannot be returned unless faulty or damaged in transit.
How to Return an Item
- Email us at returns@componentwarehouse.co.uk with your order number, reason for return, and any photos if relevant.
- We will issue a Returns Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number within 2 business days.
- Pack the item securely and clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the package.
- Ship the item to us using a tracked delivery service. We recommend Royal Mail Tracked or DPD.
- Once we receive and inspect your item, we'll process your refund within 5–10 business days.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery so we can resolve this quickly.
- We will provide a prepaid returns label at no cost to you
- You'll receive a full refund or free replacement (your choice)
- Your statutory consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected
Refunds
Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Original shipping charges are refunded only where the return is due to our error or a faulty product.
We reserve the right to deduct a restocking fee of up to 15% for items returned in poor or used condition, or where original packaging has been damaged.
UK Consumer Law: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel distance sales within 14 days of receipt, without providing a reason. Your statutory rights are protected.
Shipping Back to Us
When returning items, please use a tracked delivery service. Our return address will be provided in your RMA confirmation email.
Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to our error or because an item arrived faulty or damaged.
